My reactions to the powerpoint was astonishment, amazement and wonderfulness. My favorite photo was this one that you see above because it shows such a fierce or strong animal going through what looks like dust or smoke and the photo is just simply amazing. The photo elements in this picture is repetition for the wrinkles on the elephants' body and simplicity because its just a elephant and the mountains as the background.
Nick Brandt used a Pentax 67II. He took these photo memorialize the disappearing world of Africa. What I am interested in is showing the animals in the state of Being. In the star of Being before they no longer are. This world is under terrible threat, all of it caused by us.
